Awesome time. 4 day rock to rock trip James and Simon took great care of us. Good food, good fun at the campfire. Amazing views with the hikes. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Sleeping in the swags under the stars was fantastic. Was traveling solo but quickly made friends in the group. Only regret is having to leave. Would definitely your with this group again

Olivia is an experienced and truly committed guide! She led us in such wonderful and unique adventures. It is easy to create bonds around campfire and listen to amazing stories . Red centre is a place far from home but still , thanks to people like Oli, you can learn and love its culture and feel it as HOME.

Incredible tour, Laura was the best tour guide! Great experience, delicious food, amazing views, good length walks/hikes, comfy and warm sleeping bag and swag. Me and my friend did the 3 nights 4 day Rock to Rock tour, pickup and drop off in Alice Springs. We were lucky enough to see it rain on the rock which is very unlikely, however this meant the road to King's Canyon was flooded and we were unable to do the full itinerary of camping and hike there, and on the last night camp at a bush camp. Despite the sad news, I believe the tour was still worth it, as we got to see Uluru again this time red as the weather had cleared up. We also got to see a few other places and we were dropped off at the local town to have a look and could go to a restaurant and pub to compensate which was really nice.With it being Laura's first time out of 130 tours to see it rain on the rock and bucket down at the campsite I believe she did an outstanding job of ensuring we were all okay and that most things stayed dry. We had the option to sleep in the laundry room rather than outside under a sheltered area (however 2 of the 4 walls were were exposed so rain could come in) which was a great alternative. Our bags and luggage was stored in a lockable dry storage area, or in the trailer or on the bus. The food was delicious, a large variety of different foods to choose from for every meal. The showers were nice and hot and clean. Overall it was such an amazing tour!

I highly recommend Mulgas to anyone looking for a lot of adventure and fun, special thanks to Liv who was our guide during these days and spared no effort to make this experience as special as possible, it was an incredible 4 days with many stories about the culture and art of the Australian indigenous people, I have no words to describe the energy of each place and each person I met.

I couldn't have imagined a better way to explore the vast desert of the Australian outback. This trip had so much to offer: exploring Uluru/Kata-Tjuta NP and Kings Canyon, camping in the bush, stargazing at the night sky, hiking breathtaking trails and meeting lots of interesting people. To top it all off, you get to enjoy this trip under the guidance of a tour guide like Alex. Alex was well prepared, he had a lot of insider information, he is a great cook and as authentic as he is, you get to see the area through the eyes of a local. It was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget.

i did the 3 night/4 day tour with a pickup from alice springs. i think this is by far the best way to experience the outback. a hands-on experience with a diverse group of people. we woke up early to watch the sun rise each morning and cooked lunch and dinner as a group. lots of amazing hikes. Liv, our guide, was very knowledgeable about pretty much everything from the the plants and animals to the geology of the area. a once in a lifetime experience.

This adventure has to be one of the best ways to experience the outback especially when it comes to connecting with nature. James our guide took all the stress of travelling away and had all the knowledge needed to make sure we saw everything plus all the extra bonuses like spotting an almost invisible thorny devil.If you get James as your guide you will definitely experience the outback in one of the most unique and interesting ways as he has plenty of knowledge and surprises he shares along the journey, on top of that he is an amazing person who I am lucky to call my friend. Overall this is a trip of a lifetime and one I would highly recommend to others. Much love to all the others on our tour, was great having a family in the outback 😊

I booked the 4days-3 nights tour with Mulgas and had a great experience. I was on the tour from Sunday 25 June that ended up having tremendous rainfall down at Uluru. We hit the waterfall trifecta seeing waterfalls at Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon! Olivia was an exceptional tour guide, staying calm and positive throughout this challenging tour & providing us with the best tunes and bangers to listen to on the bus! Just completed the 4 day rock to rock tour and it was amazing!! The guides were able to take us to the main places in the area and truly made it an incredible experience! The tour guide James was incredible and really made the experience one of a kind with his inspirational stories and you could tell he really cared about the group and wanting us to have a great time! Wouldn’t have been the same without him! We even had breakfast in bed (or swag) on the last morning! I will be telling everyone to do this tour if planning on coming to central Australia!

Best tour ever!!!! Lauren our driver was the sweetest. She made sure we were always well fed and entertained. It was such an experience sleeping in the outback underneath the stars. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Saw the most breathtaking views and did cool hikes. Even though it rained for a bit, it still felt magical to be there. Loved being chef barbecue and cooking up the meals together with the squad. Such a nice group of people. Lauren had a lot of information to share with us and she did it in such an entertaining way. Everything about this tour was amazing. Laura was our tour guide and ran everything so great. She was so organized, knowledgeable, and cooked the best meals. Trying camel burgers and kangaroo steaks in the outback is something I won’t forget! The visibility of the stars is absolutely incredible and getting to sleep in swags under them was the biggest highlight. Laura’s music playlist was 10/10 — the most perfect songs for every stage in the trip. The hikes and views were awesome and Laura definitely knows what she’s doing when she plans the trip the way she does!! We met some amazing people and our group bonded so well. This trip is something I will never forget. I’m so glad we went with Mulgas for this tour and feel extra lucky we got Laura as our guide. Definitely a must do in Aus.

Luke, our tour guide, was by far the kindest, funniest, and best engaged guide I've ever had on a tour. I thought I was unfortunate sitting in the front of the bus next to the driver when we first hopped on the tour at the Uluru airport, but Luke was very good at shooting the sh*t and willing to answer any questions I could throw at him. He proved to be very knowledgeable, coordinated various personalities well, and helped handle logistical issues for some of the tour guests without disrupting the whole tour. Most important, Luke was engaging and funny; there was not one moment on this tour where I was not having fun.

This journey was probably one of the best experience of my life. The tour was amazing. Our guide Laura made the tour even more fun than it was supposed to be! Thank you!! Highly recommend!!

Great tour. Liv was extremely knowledgeable and organized. She knows all tips and tricks in town 😁. We made it to all sites on time while still accommodating all our needs. We were updated of the planning and always knew what to expect. Couldn't have wished for anything else. 100% recommended.

Traveling alone can be challenging when joining a group tour, but Olivia, our tourguide, made it so easy to get to know each other. Throughout the whole trip she spread a positive energy and set an inviting atmosphere for everyone. I really enjoyed the hikes and the knowledge we gathered from Liv. It’s amazing how much history and culture there is to this land! Definitely would recommend doing this trip if you enjoy spending time in the nature. But be aware of all the flies!!😂 Sleeping under the stars and being able to see such a beautiful sky was mesmerizing. Adding to that the sunsets and sunrises we got to see were one for the book. All in all, it was a once in a lifetime experience that I wouldn’t want to miss! Also the meals and snacks were amazing 😉

An amazing tour. Our tour guide Alex was great and told us a lot about the area we are in. I travelled solo but I still had a great time because I got to know so many new people. The walks we did started early but that was good because then it wasn’t to hot and we got to see a sunrise in the Kings canyon. Food was amazing and in the evenings we spent a lot of time together as a tour group. I would definitely recommend it.

In January we did the 4 days Tour from Mulgas Adventure. We went to Uluru and watched the sunset, sunrise and we were always the first persons there to get the best views. Laura was our tourguide and she was fabulous! She made this tour for us to the best outback experience we could get and she always took care for us. Because of the heat, was the timing important and we started hiking in the early mornings. And that was great. We were completely alone at the Kings Canyon. Incredible views! We had in this three different camping places so much fun, by sleeping under the swags, chatting and having fun with new friends (also one day in a pool) and Laura cooks really delicious food (Kamel burger, BBQ, Pancakes, Damper etc.) Beside that we learned also something about the history and geology and it was always funny with Laura. Also the bus drive was never boring with music and games! Thanks a lot on Mulgas Adventure and Laura!

Went on the 4 Day Tour with Jes - she‘s heaps good! Not gonna lie the walks can be exhausting (damn hot out there), but they‘re absolutely worth it. Jes taught us a lot about the ways of the outback and always got us laughing with her great sense of humor. So if you‘re thinking about exploring this unique part of australia, give mulgas a call (get a t-shirt), pack your bag and do this!!

Can’t say enough good things about this tour! Our guides Laura and Taylor were amazing, knowledgeable, fun, and passionate. The views and hikes were incredible everyday and seeing the sunrise and sunset really added to the experience! The food was amazing and the guides really catered to everyone’s dietary needs. I had so much fun getting to know everyone in the group and by the end we were all laughing like we’d been friends for a while. Amazing tour guide James and Simon! I love the itinerary, being a 40+ solo traveler I enjoyed the outback fire and sleeping under the stars experience. We were well fed, and very lucky to have James (ex 2 Michelin* chef) to bake the best damper!James was well prep in all aspect of the trip. Managing many young travellers takes patience. Well done. Also, his personal respect for the land and appreciation for natures radiates through out the tour, which made it special especially in uluru.(Ps. Only suggestion is please add Sanitizer on the bus)

My wife and I (early 30s) did the 3-day rock tour (starting from Alice Springs) and had an amazing time and would highly recommend! The itinerary was extremely well organised, and we packed in far more than we could have self-arranged but with perfect cadence (Kings Canyon on the last day was a highlight for us!) Our tour guide Lauren was fantastic, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and clearly doing her best to maximise enjoyment of everyone in the group. A great mix of medium difficulty hiking (~7km half days with early starts, which is all you need in the hot conditions) and campfire and bbq (ample food and snacks provided throughout the day). Sleeping in a swag around the campfire under the stars was a highlight and super comfy. Be prepared to pitch in and gather fire wood, and contribute to cooking and cleaning around camp - in our opinion this added to the authenticity of experience and bonded the group and allows the company to deliver such great value for money.

Probably the best tour I have done since being in Australia. Every landmark was more special in person and sleeping in the outback is not something you can do everyday. Simon was a very good guide and even treated us to toasties in bed (swags). Would definitely recommend the tour!

I did the 4 Day Rock to Rock tour with Phil and Courtney and it was amazing. They were amazing and did a great job! I loved everything about it. The things I’ve seen were incredible. Uluru, Kaja Tjuta and Greeks Canyon were amazing. But also everything around that was so nice. The campsites and the food were also really nice. I loved sleeping outside, under the stars. It was comfortable and of course beautiful, because of all the stars you could see in the sky. I recommend this tour to everybody. And if you’re not sure, because of sleeping outside or the temperature. I can tell you, everything is going to be fine, you don’t have to worry. Because the whole experience is just so beautiful!

What an unforgettable experience!! My boyfriend and I were undecided about visiting Ayres rock whilst travelling Australia, but after getting back from this trip it was honestly one of the best trips we’ve been on!! Laura our tour guide was amazing, so knowledgeable, hilarious, friendly and organised. We met the best group of people and shared some very special moments e.g sunrises and sunsets over Ayres rock. The camping was great- yes it was cold so bring layers in winter but the fire makes it better. It is very outdoorsy with little luxuries but the experience you get is one of a kind. I recently went on a 4-day, 3-night tour of Uluru with my boyfriend and friends and it was simply breathtaking! The weather was perfect and the landscapes were mesmerizing. From exploring the base of Uluru to witnessing unforgettable sunrises and sunsets, every moment was magical.And a big shout out to Alex, our guide, who clearly loves his job and this region (we could feel this passion through his explanations). He was also an excellent cooker, driver, dj - always paying attention to all the details. For example, to my surprise, he made a cake in the firecamp to celebrate my birthday! I still have no words for this!This whole experience a must! I highly recommend to anyone looking for an extraordinary adventure and it’s a chance to connect with Australia a little bit more.

Had the most amazing trip to Uluṟu, kata juta and kings canyon with Mulgas tours. Everything was so seemless and timed so well! Picked up with ease from the airport by our fabulous guide Lauren. We explored Uluṟu, learned about the culture and had champagne at sunset. The days at Kata Juta and kings canyon were equally amazing! We camped each night under the stars in sleeping bags and swags. I was extremely nervous about camping but Lauren reassured us throughout. I’m a vegetarian, the food was so tasty and versatile. Even got some veggie Bolognese cooked on the campfire and pancakes on the last day! The scenery is amazing but Lauren really made the trip so special! Her knowledge and respect for local culture was so evident. She was so enthusiastic and kept us all entertained even on the longer drives with bus trivia and great music! We were so lucky we got to experience the Australian outback with such an amazing guide ❤️ ✨ Book the 4d/3n tour, bush camp was amazing and 3 days just isn’t enough!

Dieser Tour war unfassbar. Eine absolut einmalige Erfahrung mit so vielen tollen Eindrücken und einzigartigen Erfahrungen. Die Aussichten und Spaziergänge waren so beeindruckend und atemberaubend. Sonnenuntergänge und Sonnenaufgänge am Uluru waren sehr schön und besonders. Die anderen Spots mindestens genauso sehenswert. Der Tourguide Simon war der beste Guide, den man sich vorstellen konnte mit viel Wissen über die Aboriginal Kultur. Er war Fahrer, Koch und Guide in einer Person und hat alles gegeben, damit wir ein unvergessliches Erlebnis haben. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß, haben sehr viele Erinnerungen gesammelt und würden jedem diese Tour wärmstens empfehlen! Danke Simon für die unvergessliche Zeit!

Just coming back from this tour and it has been pretty amazing. Had Simon as a tour guide and he's been the best! Very chill and hilarious. Food was great and we got to try different meats which was an interesting experience. Very well fed nonetheless. The tour had just the amount of hiking for the non experienced and there was plenty of time to socialize and get to know each other instead of being strangers on a tour.

Thank you to Alex for the trip of a lifetime! This trip is so well organised, you do so much without it feeling overwhelming and is just so much fun. The camping is beautiful seeing all the stars and the hikes are the perfect length. Would definitely recommend doing this guided tour instead of doing it yourself as you benefit from the guides / tours local knowledge so much!

Beautiful trip with all the highlights. Looking back we should've taken the 4-day trip to get the "full" experience of bush sleeping, but we got all the major sights in this one and it was amazing!

This tour was incredible. Seeing the Red Centre was mesmerising and our tour guide Phil made it such a happy and positive experience! We were well looked after with enough breaks on bus journeys, lots of nutritious food, and the essentials to survive the Outback! We also had some free time to enjoy the pool and explore which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this tour!!

I did the three night Uluru tour with Mulgas. It was absolutely brilliant! The food was great and I really enjoyed trying kangaroo steak and camel burger! We had damper (an Australian desert) cooked on an open fire! It was a once in a life time experience to see the sunrise and sunset every day in the red centre. Sleeping under the stars in a swag each night is undescribable. Our guides CJ and Simon were just brilliant!! CJ's enthusiasm was infectious! I did not stop laughing or smiling for the whole tripI cannot recommend the tour enough!

Definitely the best tour we did in Australia with the best guide.Our guide Simon was very knowledgeable, super nice and very organised.Very well fed, we had the chance to try differents meat which was interesting. We slept in the swag for 3 nights in the outback and under a magical sky. Everyone who goes to the Center should book this tour! This is a one in a lifetime experience.

I did the 4 day rock to rock tour and I couldn't recommend it enough. The scenery, campsites and all the activities were great fun especially the swag camping and sunrise / sunsets. Alex our guide was fantastic. He included everyone, was knowledgeable about the history, culture, plants and animals we encountered. He worked hard to make it fun for everyone and made sure everyone was included. The food was great and there was always more than enough. Plus the surprise Tim tams went down a treat! Definitely recommend this tour.

Had the best time with the Mulgas adventure 4 day 3 night tour! The tourguides Phil and James were amazing. Both very knowledgeble and friendly. There was an amazing vibe and in the 4 days we did so much exploring. The days were filled with hikes, sunrises, sunset, good food, good campsites and on top of that we learned a lot about the aboriginal culture! You fall asleep under the stars and next to a bonfire which in my opinion is one of the best experiences i've had in Australia.I think this tour is a must do whenever you visit Alice springs or thinking about going to the outback! Just keep in mind that it can get really cold at night and in the early mornings, so make sure you bring enough warm clothes :).

I highly recommend this trip with mulgas adventure! They really go above and beyond to make the days you spend with them unforgettable. It was very fortunate to have Rachel n Taylor on the trip, as any slight issue that arose was met with a quick solution. Overall you will have an amazing time, as the hikes offer incredible scenery, the knowledge provided is very interesting, the food was so good n the snacks provided was much more then I expected but most importantly it’s one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, with awesome people on the tour to share it with.

I could not have asked for a better tour. Liv was a phenomenal guide, answering all of our never ending questions and providing us with such an authentic aussie Outback experience. Love love loved this trip, from rising at dawn to snuggling into the swag around the fire and falling asleep under the brightest stars I’ve ever seen. Simon our guide was super organized, knowledgeable and made sure that we got to enjoy everything we did with a sense of humor and fun. Our trip to Uluru, Kata-Tjuta and Kings Canyon with Liv was INCREDIBLE! Liv was an amazing guide always keeping the enthusiasm super high (WOO) and sharing so much knowledge about the creation time stories and geological formation of the sacred sites. I learnt so so much on this trip but also had SO much fun - dancing at bush camp, yelling Woo into Kings Canyon and looking down from the top part of Kata-Tjuta were definite highlights. Sleeping in Swags under the stars added so much to the experience and Liv’s wake up playlists were the perfect way to start the day! The food was incredible and Liv always managed to produce magic snacks whenever we stopped for a break!! I was recommended this tour by over 20 people before I came and will defo be recommending it to 100 more it was AWESOME!

The most amazing experience! Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon are so uniquely beautiful. We were on our feet for most of the day, from sunrise to sunset and then stargazing. Because the tour was very well organised, every minute of our stay in the outback was used well, so that we got to see as much as possible, while ideally staying ahead of the other tour groups. The vibe was really good and the people in our group really fun. We all worked together to collect wood for fire, cook and clean. Overnight we slept in swags and sleeping bags under the sky. That was a lot warmer and comfortable than I could've ever imagined. If you can, try to go while there's new moon so that the sky is darker and you can see more stars!Last but not least, our tour guide Lauren was amazing! She couldn't have done a better job! She shared her great knowledge on the aboriginal culture and the geological origins of these beautiful rock formations and did a great job with guiding the group through the outback!I can only recommend going to Uluru, it's probably the highlight of my entire Australia trip. This tour is perfect for backpackers looking for a budget and real-aussie experience in the red centre.

It was an amazing time and experience and I would definitely recommend it! Our guides, Alex, Courtney and Rachel, took really good care of us and were always in a good mood. The food was great and we were always offered snacks and fresh fruit during the day. Thank you to our guides and all the people that made the tour as wonderful as it was.

Amazing experience with a great guide (aka Olivia) and the coolest Bus ever (Pinkie)!! She showed us the coolest parts and explained the relevant cultural elements related to Uluru and the various places we visited. Can only recommend!!

I had the most amazing Experience going 4 day rock to rock experience. I am unexperienced with camping and Tegen was absolutely fantastic! Experienced, knowledgeable, funny, professional and positive! Cannot ask for better guide! Had an amazing group and met amazing people. The tour is planned perfectly and has good length. This was an amazing adventure packed into 4 days. Loved our group. Loved our one-man-band leader, Alex who was calm and patient with us. We laughed, we cried (happy tears Ofcourse), we looked out for each other and I know I came away better having travelled this weekend with great people. We saw so much and many things tucked off on my bucket list!!

Had a great rock to rock camping trip with our guide Simon. He was a great guide and knew a lot about the places where we stayed and the areas we visited. Everything wad very well arranged, also the vegetarians meals. The pub quiz during a long ride, chocolate cake cooked on the camp fire, and breakfast in Swag were the cherries on the cake. The swags were surprisingly comfortable. Only the packing list we got upfront was not too clear and if we were able to bring our large backpacks or not (yes you can bring them but you have to put them in a storage. Take a smaller bag for the trip itself).

We did the 4-day rock to rock tour and we were so amazed about what it's like to be in the outback. We saw awesome places and amazing sunsets. Our tour guides Simon and Rachel made the experience even better, they had a big knowledge about the Outback, aborigines and the animals. They always made sure that were are happy and full, since the food was sooo good! Highly recommended!

We did a group tour with Mulgas Adventures for 3 nights/4 days. The trip was such a hit, we met amazing people from all everywhere, food was great (including for vegetarians like me) and loved the hisory lessons provided by our amazing guide Alex.

We had Olivia as our tour guide and she was SENSATIONAL. I had the absolute best time on this tour and I would recommend it to anyone but the care, passion and fire that Olivia had in her heart with everything she did, showed us and told us took this tour from a 10/10 to a 100/10. We slept under the stars every night, hiked, saw some breathtaking views and learnt so much about the culture in the Red Centre. I could go on for days about how awesome this tour was but I’d be here forever. Here’s a HUGE thank you to Olivia, it wouldn’t have been the same without you!!!!

This tour was gorgeous and well put together. Olivia (Liv) was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who was kind but also ran the trip efficiently and softly encouraged everyone to get to know each other/get out of their comfort zones. I really enjoyed the hikes - I only wish we could’ve gone on longer hikes or maybe done two shorter hikes in a day, but I understand we are limited by the daytime heat and that many areas are off-limits for non-indigenous folks. The stars were one of my favorite parts of the trip, though the sunrises/sunsets were pretty unbeatable as well. Also, do yourself a favor and bring a fly net (even in spring)!!

One of my favourite experiences in Australia was this 4 day tour! We had Phil as our tour guide and he really made the trip. He had so much knowledge about the sites we visited, the history, what the best walks were, types of plants, the areas geography and most importantly where all the toilets are!I'm vegan and always get nervous about what the food will be like on tours. However, we had great camp food and I was never hungry. Phil even made me vegan pancakes on the last morning so I didn't feel left out! 10/10 I've already been recommending the tour to everyone I know!

Had an amazing time on the Mulgas Adventures Outback Tour. Our guide Luke really nailed it, from cooking for us to driving to keeping us informed. He made the tour really fun and memorable. My personal highlight was the hike in kings canyon but both the Olga's and Uluru were also great fun. Camping was cool too, with great sun sets/rises and starlit night skies. Highly recommended tour!

After undertaking the 4-day tour of Uluru, Kata Tjuta, and Kings Canyon with Mulgas Adventure as a couple, our experience was truly memorable despite the scorching heat! The group consisted of 20 people from various nationalities, but we all shared the same enthusiasm and sense of adventure, making mutual discovery very enjoyable. Everyone helped each other during the tour and looked out for one another. The sacred sites and scenery were truly amazing to discover, definitely worth it! Finally, we really want to thank our guide: Laura. She was our guide, mechanic, cook, emergency responder, driver, etc., and she did a fantastic job. We always had descriptions of the sites we were visiting, always arrived at photo spots before everyone else, the food was great, the organization was spot on, she was truly authentic, and most importantly, she made everything work together, and that's the kind of thing that makes the experience go from good to amazing! This was a great trip! Didn’t know what to expect going into it and was happily surprised. Somehow each day got better than the last! There were some issues with the bus but it was resolved as quick as possible and didn’t impact my experience at all. Alex was a great guide and handled all the bumps very well while ensuring we had a good time. Beautiful views and good campsites! Would definitely recommend.

If you are planning a trip to see Uluṟu, Kata Tjuṯa and Kings Canyon, I would highly recommend booking with Mulgas Adventures! Our guide Jess was amazing, informed us of activities whilst being very relaxed, we didn’t feel rushed and the tour wasn’t too structured. I don’t think you would see or experience half the sights we witnessed if you booked with another company. Food was fab, camel burgers a highlight! This tour was the best thing I've done in AUS!!! My boyfriend and I had so much fun on our Mulgas Adventure Rock to Rock Tour. We feel so lucky to have had Teagan as our tour guide for the four days. She was extremely knowledgeable about the culture and places we visited, very personable and approachable and so passionate about her job. She always ensured everyone was safe and having the best time! From start to finish we were well informed on what to expect for the day, meals, campsite, etc. I'd recommend this tour for anyone who wants a true authentic outback Australian adventure without having to do the planning and preparation. Just got back from a 3 day trip and it was amazing! I can highly recommend it! We slept under the stars, hiked in the most beautiful surroundings and made a lot of new friends. The tour of Uluru was really great. We had a great guide in Olivia, who told us a lot about the stories of the Aborigines, the plants and so on. The tour was really well organised.

Our guide Lauren was amazing! She made the experience so fun, high/positive/good energy, and I learned so much on the tour. Lauren was very respectful of the native culture and rules around respecting their sacred spaces. I felt safe the whole tour - hiking/driving. We were up very early to start our days and were woken nicely with music and food. I’m vegan and I always had plenty to eat. Lauren even made me a special batch of pancakes on the last morning, which I felt was going above and beyond to make me feel included. Lauren had me or the other vegetarians cook the veggie part of the meals so there was no cross contamination. This tour is for folks who are looking for an adventure among people from around the world, who are willing to help out with cooking/cleaning and like camping under the stars. Beautiful, wonderful trip with great people!

Was truly amazing. Rachel our tour guide was super knowledgeable and extremely passionate about showing us as much as possible and sharing even personal experiences to enrich our trip. Bush camping is tons of fun, and everything was done on the spot to help accomodate my complicated dietary requirements (kosher). Definitely a no miss when visiting Australia.

This trip was absolutely amazing, from the sights to the food to the people. The 4 day 3 night tour was ideal, got to see everything I could have wanted within that time frame. This tour was the highlight of our australia trip! Our tour guide, James, was so thoughtful and knowledgable about the land and culture of the Anangu peoples, and conducted the tour with the utmost respect for their traditional knowledge, practices, and wishes. We learned so much and are so thankful for James' willingness to share his valuable knowledge and experiences with us, and to the Anangu peoples for allowing others to learn from their rich history and culture. Our entire group got so close by the end of the 4 days that it was difficult to leave. 10/10 experience.

Fantastic set up! Food for days! A tour that has hectic mornings and relaxing evenings by the campfire. Swags are nothing to be afraid of and will 100% doing them again. Not like your average 4 day tour, our guide was so calm and chill which really set the mood for the whole group. Learnt lots and will be recommending this tour to all I meet. This was the best trip ever! I have to admit, I was a little hesitant to book it at first but I am SO glad I did! Liv was an amazing tour guide and was super knowledgeable about everything there was to explore and talk about. She always made sure our safety came first and brought the energy the whole time, even during the early mornings and rainy days (which were both totally worth it!). Our group was lucky enough to see waterfalls and lightning storms at Uluru, plenty of wildlife, and a rainbow over the canyon. Highly recommend this trip to anyone considering it — hopefully you get as lucky as we did! You will not regret it and will have memories to last a lifetime!

I just finished the 4 day trip with Mulgas and would definitely recommend it! Our guide (Phil) knew a lot about the area (from culture to geology) and was always happy to answer any questions. The smile on his face tells how much he loves the outback. The food was a lot better than I had expected on a trip like this, wholesome and tasty. Just be aware that lunch is not provided on the first day of the tour, so bring it yourself or buy something at a service station on the way to Uluru. Sleeping in swags under a sky full or starts is a experience you do not want to miss out on!

I booked the 4 day camping trip with mulga adventures and I am so glad I did!!! The Tour was the perfect mixture of outdoor living, fun activities and interesting conversations about the aboriginal communities living there. The tour guide Tegan made the experience even better. With her personal experiences with aboriginal people she was able to create a emotional connection between the group and the history of this place! There aren’t enough good words to say about my experience with Mulgas Adventures and our tour guide, Simon the legend!I did the Rock-to-Rock tour back in April, and it was so much better than I expected it to be. Initially I wanted to plan my trip alone and quickly realised how high the cost would be to travel and see the things I wanted to see. At the time I heard some very positive reviews about this tour from people I met in a couple of different hostels, and by looking it up online, it was obvious that it was the perfect solution to my problem.The group I was with was full of very interesting people from all over the world, and Simon (our tour guide) was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.I highly recommend Mulgas Adventures, and I will definitely join them again when on my future travels in Australia!

it was an once in a lifetime experience. we had a lot of fun with alex and his trainees rachel & courtney. we recommend that trip to everyone who wants to get to know the outback and have unforgettable adventures (and sunrises/sunsets!). Such an amazing tour and experience. We did the four day, three night tour, it was so well planned. 41 degrees every day and the days were planned so that we could have earlier starts to get hikes finished before it got too hot and travelling on the air-conned bus while it was at its peak heat. Each campsite had great facilities. Our tour guide, Phil was amazing had such knowledge at each attraction and very friendly. Food was lovely and we were given plenty of snacks throughout the day. Would highly recommend this tour.

Had an amazing time on the 4 day tour! The group was comprised of backpackers from all over the world which made it easy to fit in as a solo traveler. Our guide, Liv, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about sharing info about the culture of the indigenous people in the area and the history of the landscapes. She was a great leader and made sure everyone was contributing to group tasks like cooking and washing up. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Australia!

Thanks to Olivia's care, we were able to see Uluru, the Olga's and King Canyon through a massive 3day rain storm. Her calm determination and planning allowed us to see these sites gushing with waterfalls and rivers; a rare and magical experience. This was honestly one pf the most amazing trips I’ve done in my life. The scenery and the walks were amazing, and it was so cool to sleep right under the stars. We also had Liv who was the best possible guide, so passionate and knowledged about what she was doing. So worth doing this trip!!! Even though I’ve done it, I could do it again.

The 4D3N Tour was one of the best things I’ve done in Australia. We had such an amazing time even if the weather wasn‘t very good. Our guide Rachel tried so hard so we can see a sunset and sunrise at Uluru and we even got pancakes at the Uluru for sunrise because we had such a bad luck with all the other sunsets und sunrises. Thank you so much! The hikes were amazing. I‘d say a tour with mulgas is a must do during a visit in Australia.

Great tour through the outback! All the walks and hikes are amazing, this part of the world is really beautiful. All very well organised, good and lots of food provided and very good vibes from our tour guide Simon! He definitely made this tour even better - lots of stories and knowledge shared, funny and helpful.Camping in swaggs around the fire was such an experience, just would recommend bringing something warm to sleep if you usually feel cold during the night, but the swaggs and the sleeping bags were warmer and more comfortable than I thought. I would really recommend to do this tour with this company - you will have a great time 🙂

It really is an absolutely amazing trip and a once in a life time thing. We were looked after so well by Phil who is a great driver, chef and tour guide. I’d 100% recommend this to anyone… even if I didn’t see a kangaroo But the stars would get better every night

The 4 day tour was absolutely incredible and a great way to see Uluṟu, Kata Tjuṯan and King’s Canyon (perhaps not on your itinerary but should be!). Our tour guide Alex was great and quietly organised everything for us - we really didn’t need to worry about anything for the 4 days. He even baked a damper cake for someone’s birthday during the tour! There is plenty of food available including meals each day and snacks during and after hikes. Sleeping in swags under the stars is such a unique experience and in our opinion was way better than sleeping in one of the resort accommodation options. The early wake ups to hike at sunrise are absolutely worth it. Being Australian we initially thought it might be a bit weird doing a tour but we are SO glad we did as we met lots of amazing people from around the world. 10/10 would recommend this tour company and the 4 day Uluṟu - Kata Tjuṯa - Kings Canyon tour!

Best Best Best trip ever, honestly this is my best trio in Australia so far. Lauren was absolutely lovely, so so nice, an amazing tour guide. The walks were great, camping sites amazing, the food on top. Cannot recommand any other tour better than this one, they were so nice. I had to change the booking and they did it in one day, no problem. Honestly the best trip, thank you so so so much.

This is the second time I have done this tour. This time I bought my 18-year-old niece. We both loved it. The group made her feel comfortable. We were lucky to get an awesome group. Definitely a tour suitable for all ages. Our guide Olivia (LIV) was exceptional. It rained the whole time we were there and we were fortunate to experience the waterfall trifecta. Spectacular! Liv took us to see Uluru twice! We saw it dry and we saw the dormant waterfalls spring to life. There are not many tour guides out there that would have continued under these weather conditions. Liv made sure we were safe and I could feel her determination to ensure our experience was memorable was important to her. I could see that Liv loves her job and enjoyed the tour as much as we did. So lovely and rare to see this. Oh, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Thanks again Mulga's. 🙂

This trip was so much fun and so amazing - we slept on the red desert dunes under the stars in the middle of Australia. We fell in love with the colours and endless space. We shared this with people of many ages and nationalities which we loved - we all pitched in to make meals and make the huge campfire etc. We also learned a fair bit about the local indigenous people and their history. I went last year with friends and loved it so much I immediately rebooked and took my family this year . Both times we had an awesome driver/guide ( Liv the first time and Phil this time - so friendly and so organised ) Might even go a third time !

Have just finished the Rock to Rock 4 day/3 night tour with Mulgas. The tour was taken by Olivia, and I have to say it was AMAZING. I have lived in Australia my entire life (29 years) and am still discovering this great land. Olivia was so passionate and respectful when showing our group the beautiful sights. She educated us with a plethora of the local knowledge we are privy to, and was attentive to all questions. The nights spent camping under the stars with swags, a team effort with camp duties, we truly had an all-encompassing outback tour. Can't recommend this tour with Mulga's to take you enough. Amazing 4-day trip!! Would highly recommend it. Great value for money!! Very well-planned itinerary that allows you to see everything. I had some really friendly and fun tour guides who really knew the area. I loved sleeping under the stars and camping around a fire.

After 5 months of travelling through New Zealand and Australia: this tour was definitely the best tour I’ve had. During the whole tour I felt like I was part of some sort of movie. I got sucked in all the stories about the aboriginal culture and it felt like I was living a dream. The food was amazing and sleeping under the stars in a swag is something I’ll never forget. But what the tour made even more unforgettable: the tour guide. Tourguide Tegan is the best tour guide I’ve had so far. The way she speaks: with so much passion and knowledge. Tegan was the bridge between me, a 25-year old backpacker, and the aboriginal culture. Now I understand the way aboriginals live and think way better and I started to admire the culture. Also, Tegan showed us multiple times that she was grateful to be in contact with the aboriginal people and to teach us a bout it. Thank you Mulgas and thank you Tegan!

The sites were awe inspiring and the group was great. But all was made better by the leadership of Olivia!!! She was super knowledgeable and had a wonderful way about explaining the history, cultural aspects and even the geological phenomena that created the incredible formations that we saw. She also took great care to impart upon us the sacredness and cultural importance of these sites to the aboriginal people of Uluru and made sure that we knew where and when it was appropriate to take photographs. Her enthusiasm was contagious and I believe it made the group more eager and adventurous, and - for a better word- “ less cranky” about the awful weather. In fact, she made us all see the heavy rain as a positive, calling us the lucky 2% that get to see waterfalls at these sites. We actually went “chasing waterfalls.”She was able to be flexible and turn on a dime when things didn’t go exactly as planned and made it all seem seamless. Thank you for arranging alternative sleeping arrangements for us on the last night which was meant to be a bush night. It was a wonderful way to end the trip for all. 5 stars for Olivia (Liv)!!!

Amazing camping tour in Australia‘s red centre. Laura was an absolute gem of a tour guide, she knows so much about the geography of the region, Aboriginal history and culture and surviving in the outback. She always made sure to be the first group at all the spots and knew the best views for the most beautiful Uluru experience. It was pretty hot (43 degrees) on our tour so we did all the hikes in the early morning, which meant getting up at 3-4 am, but was absolutely worth it. Katatjuta and King’s Canyon are at least as stunning as Uluru and made for some beautiful hikes as well. Laura always made sure that we all stayed safe in the heat and had the time of our lifes. Sleeping in a swag is definitely a great experience although it can be hard in the heat or when it starts raining in the middle of the night. I did enjoy it a lot though and would definitely do it again. This tour felt like the most authentic way to experience the outback and these memories will stay with me forever. Huge thanks to Laura and my amazing group as well. We all grew together in sharing this experience and it was an absolute blast!

I recently went on a 4-day tour with our guide Alex. The communication with the office has been fantastic so booking was really easy. Alex was able to pick us up in town instead of waiting at the airport. Uluru was great but nothing like the rest of the trip. Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon were definitely the highlights of the trip. The schedule was perfect; between food prep, setting up camp and cleaning up there was just enough time to enjoy the moment. Alex was really good at leading the group whilst leaving space for a natural bond to form between everyone. I did not expect to enjoy this experience that much. Will definitely recommend it!

We had the best time! Alex was an incredible guide - answered all our questions, really made the experience enjoyable, meaningful and fun. The ideal person to be with when you are in the outback! The camping experience was excellent and we loved the sunset tours and hikes. Brilliant food, with great veg options. Alex’s damper was a highlight. Pinky the bus was fabulous too and a great place for a singalong and chance to share experiences with others on the tour.

Uluru, Kata Tjuṯa and Kings Canyon were some of the most impressive and inspiring natural formations I have ever witnessed. The peace and quiet at the remote star covered campsites, with my feet in the red sand, was almost spiritual. The tour itinerary was a wonderful balance of discovery, wonder and rest. Our guide Phill, was awesome! effortlessly ticking all the boxes: calm, funny, knowledgeable, organised… and had a stash of TimTams! Often missed from reviews is the care taken when driving the tour bus. I am a bus driver and I have a hard time being a passenger as I am always trying to use an imaginary brake pedal. Not this time, I could sit and watch the scenery waft past without a care. Even when some Brumbies decided to run across the road in front of us. Everything was amazing, Phil took it up a level.

Had the most amazing trip with Alex our guide! He made the most authentic outback experience for us getting us involved at every stage. The views from the hikes were incredible and we had the chance to try some Aussie cuisine! Sleeping under the stars in a swag was something I wasn’t expecting, but it was a highlight of the tour. I did the 4 day 3 night rock to rock tour! And what can I say? It was the most amazing experience. Liv, our guide was the best as well. She had great knowledge and was just keen on giving our group the best time. Thank you for that, Liv! We did hikes with breathtaking views, learned the nutbush-dance, sang togehter on the bus rides and watched the beautiful night sky in our Swags. All in all, the perfect outback experience. We cooked together Camel and Kangaroo and then eat it together around the fire. Sleeping below the stars was incredible. Got the hair, the vibes and the info. Olivia was amazing as a tour guide. She was very knowledgeable in her interesting (but random) bush facts and knew the answers to most of our questions. The tour is one of the cheaper ones on offer but in my opinion definitely the best. This is because instead of being put into posh hotels for the nights you get to spend time cooking eating and sharing stories round the campfire together such that by the end of the trip you feel like you have known your fellow tourers for years. By far the best night is the last night when you get the full bush camping experience. You dig your own toilet as a team and help prepare food for cooking on the campfire. An unforgettable experience even without the red rocks we all came to see.

I was looking in the internet an organized tour for Ayers Rock and when I found the Mulgas' one I was a bit scared to go because I was alone. I'm grateful I did it because I found amazing people! I have to say that Alex (the guide) was great! He loves what he does and he made sure we always felt good in what we were doing. I've never done camping before (and it's probably not my favourite thing) but I must admit that experiencing the outback in the way this tour allows you to experience it, it's wonderful. Being able to sleep with friends under the stars in the middle of nowhere it's something you have to do once in a life! I don't know what else to say if not thank you all! Grazie❤

Wow what an unforgettable experience. I chose the 4 day rock to rock tour with 24 others on mulgas and it was fab. Lauren our tour guide was fantastic. She really thought of everything to make our experience the best it could be - having a music playlist suited to each site we visited, and waking us up for sunrise gently with nice tunes! She had card games and things for us to do on the long car journeys and she was really knowledgeable about every place we visited and the outback in general! After I was quite poorly on one of the days she really helped to make me feel better! The tour itself is amazing, visiting Uluru, Kata Tjuṯa and Kings Canyon and learning a mixture of culture, history and geology. The tour really gives a mixture of everything, all campers chip in with collecting firewood, cooking and cleaning - I would add, as a 25 y/o solo traveller I felt this tour was suited mostly for young backpackers - I really had a great time! Sleeping outside in swags under the stars is an unforgettable experience. Thank you mulgas and thank you Lauren ! ✨

This trip was amazing! Thanks to our tour guide Ben for the wonderful insight in the Aborigines culture and the hikes at the Uluru, Kata Juta and Kings Canyon. We also had a lot of fun in the evenings with our tour group at the camps and slept under a sky full of stars. I would absolutely recommend this tour!

Good value for money. The food was great and plenty of it. The views were amazing - especially the sunrises and sunsets. Hikes around Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon were enjoyable and not too difficult. Sleeping in a swag was better than I thought it would be and worth it for the star gazing. A fair bit of driving had to be done due to the distance between places. Our tour guide Phil was great!

One of the best adventure we’ve had in Australia so far. Great tour, great experience, great team. Even if we had to get up very early in the morning to avoid the summer heat, EVERYTHING was worth it and amazing. The biggest thank you goes to Laura: a super guide. I’ve just returned from a fantastic rock to rock tour guided by Laura and Taylor . It was such a magical experience sleeping under the stars in swags and getting to enjoy beautiful sun rises and sunsets in and around Uluru. Mulgas adventures are the tour company to choose!

Can’t recommend this tour enough. We had an amazing 4 days exploring Uluru, with great company and amazing food. As a vegetarian I can highly recommend, I was very well catered for, and no one was ever left hungry! The camping experience is one of a kind, and I’m very glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone, I would 100% do it again. A special mention for our tour guide Alex, his knowledge and passion was fab, and he was brilliant company, definitely made our experience even better. Small tip if you’re looking at this tour, book directly through Mulga rather than an external travel company 🙂

The 4 days Rock-to-Rock tour is honestly one of the best tours I’ve ever done ! We got to explore a lot of the geological sites, including Uluru and Kings Canyon, while getting a better understanding of the aboriginal culture. Alex has been an amazing guide as well as a fantastic chef 😊.

Unfortunately I will not be able to complete the tour due to health problems (own mistake, not the organization's), but that is not the point of this review. I have been helped and taken care of me very well. By being alert as a group leader, things turned out well for me. they gave me the care I needed and helped before/during/after the tour. you are not a number but are really treated like a person, which is very nice, especially as a solo traveler. thanks again for your help, especially Rachel and Jase! I recommend this tour to everyone and it is a fantastic organization!

Our tour guide Liv was awesome!!! I had a great time on the 4 day, 3 night Rock to Rock tour. We were picked up at our accommodation in Alice Springs on time and our adventure started. Liv drove us to Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon and several stops between over the 4 days. It was a great way to see "the red centre" and it's beautiful sights, I loved camping under the stars and being driven from place to place in the bus. The cultural commentary was clear and easy to understand as were instructions at camp sites and times to be back on the bus and how much free time we had. I highly recommend seeing the great sights of the Northern Territory this way. I'd go again in a heart beat.

Where do I even begin? Everything you see is like a 5 star gourmet feast for your eyes. From the beautiful deep red land with it's history and natural beauty, to the gorgeous skies at sunrise and sunset which compliment the colours of the land with glowing orange and purple. Come night time and those 5 stars turn into 5 thousand stars, with each night providing views of the milky way and the often shooting star to wish upon. Though wish for no more perfect tours than this, as everything you would ever need was provided by the true gem of the trip, which came in the form of our lovely tour guide, Laura 🤠. This trip would not have been the same without Laura and her knowledge, planning and her ability to entertain.

I did the 4-day 3-night tour with Mulgas and it was fantastic. Such a well organised trip, amazing hikes, beautiful scenery and a unique experience of sleeping under the stars. Laura was our guide and was just brilliant. So knowledgable, made us all feel very safe and such good fun. I’m hoping all tour guides on my upcoming trips are as good as she! Would highly recommend.

If they ask me what is the best moment in your life, I would say this Mulga adventure. We slept under the thousands of stars, and saw the most beautiful views. Also it was really great to have a tour with our Guide Phil. Everytime he gave us the informations and also took care of us all time. I would like to send my children into this tour although I dont have it yet lmao JUST DO THIS TOUR. You will never regret about it

Don’t miss heading out to the Northern Territory if you are in Aus! The 3N4D Uluru tour with Mulgas was incredible and so much fun! The food was great, I loved trying the damper (Aussie dessert). Sleeping under the stars, the different walks and watching the sunsets and sunrises from different viewpoints was amazing. Shout out to our guides CJ and Simon who made the experience so memorable.

We had an amazing experience in the outback: sleeping under the stars, cooking on the camp fire, stunning sunrises and sunsets. A special thank you to Laura, who is an excellent guide. She has so much knowledge to share and so many storys to tell. She knows how to bring fun and motivation even in difficult moments (getting up at 3 am and coping with the heat) I am 55 years old, I was OK and would absolutely recommend the tour. But Mulgas Adventures does right to check with “older travellers” that they are physically in shape.

The best tour to see the sights of the outback! Alex was a perfect guide very informative and helpful. Definitely bring a head torch or a small handheld torch for at night and enjoy the stars. The walks were amazing and the food was so good! Would definitely recommend, just book this tour you won’t find better!

I've loved every moment of this 4-Day Rock to Rock experience. Our tour guide Simon was fantastic: funny, resourceful and knowledgeable. He took great care of us as a group (even surprising us with bonfire-baked chocolate cake), ensured a good vibe among the people in the group and shared many interesting facts and stories about Uluru. This adventure has over-exceeded my high expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the Red Center in an authentic but fun way.

I went on the 4 day rock to rock tour, and it was one of the best trips I have done so far! Central Australia is a beautiful place, Uluru is a place I have wanted to visit for some time, and even in the rain it did not disappoint. The other walks around Kata Tjuta and kings canyon had some breath taking views too. C-Jay was an amazing guide, so friendly, with so much knowledge of the culture and geography of the areas we saw - you can tell she really loves her job, which made the tour all the better! I have to say, my favourite part of the tour was at the bush camp, when we could look up and see the stars - it is definitely worth doing the 4 days just for this. The trip is definitely excellent value for money, with all the travel, and the food included. The only downside I would say, would be the amount of flies around - but as long as you take a flynet, you'll be all good ! If you want to see the highlights of central Australia, in a small tour group, with great tour guides I'd 100% recommend !

As an Australian couple who have always wanted to visit Uluṟu and experience a taste of the desert, this trip exceeded all expectations…and my expectations were high to begin with after reading all the great reviews! Excellent value trip and the bonus for me was the tasty meals prepared by our Guide, Alex and sleeping in swags looking up to the glorious night sky! Plus meeting like minded people from all around the world whom we now call friends. Amazing 4-day trip!! It is the perfect way to experience the Outback. Everything is well planned with amazing food and snacks. Our guide Phil was very helpful and fun. He was well informed and could answer any questions we had. He was really good at looking after us and made sure we drank plenty of water.

What an incredible opportunity to visit Anangu lands and learning about the sacred places and Indigenous people - especially Uluru. Going with Muglas was definitely the right choice. It was so well organized and the early wake ups were worth the sunrises and to beat the heat hiking. You feel so accomplished after doing a 3 hour hike by 9am! The landscapes are out of this world. Alex was a fantastic guide and he made the trip so enjoyable. The facilities for showering and toilets were better than expected. The food was also great with plenty of snacks on hand. Also sleeping under the stars in the swag was so memorable. I would highly recommend going with and supporting this local tour company.

Just finished up the four day Rock to Rock tour and I can’t begin to describe how incredible the experience was. From watching the sunrise over Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa to sleeping under the stars at bush camp I’ve had the most magical weekend. A special mention goes to our wonderful guide Alex - he went out of his way to make the experience special for us and was so generous with his time and knowledge, and he undoubtedly made the experience as special as it was! Plus his music taste was ace, so the longer drives flew by.

Terrific tour I would recommend to everyone who wants to visit all the special places such as Uluru, kutu Jaya and the kings Canyon. And who doesn't mind sleeping in the bush! But everybody should like sleeping in the bush, it's what made the experience very special and memorable to me.The bus was well air-conditioned, comfortable enough and Simon (our tour guide) was very fun, friendly and helpful.

I was a bit nervous about the trip before as I was joining on my own, but I quickly discovered it was an exciting adventure in a van. Rachel and Taylor knew a lot about outback in Australia, I learnt so much over the few days. They even made some trouble into something to enjoy and I had a great time entire trip. I never camped out in a swag but I found it was great. Full of activities, sense of achievement, mesmerising sceneries and some giggles. I highly recommend travelling with them, I couldn’t made my trip any better without them.

What an amazing trip! So much was packed into the 3 days - well worth the early starts! We had beautiful sunrises and sunsets, beautiful stars, beautiful landscapes, and it was great fun camping in a swag for the first time. The Uluru trip was a perfect mix of a great outback adventure whilst being extremely well organised and coordinated by our fantastic tour guide Alex! Spectacular sunrise and sunset views, memorable walks and entertaining bus rides with a great group made it an absolutely unforgettable experience.

We went a 4 day tour, through Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon 6th of september starting point was Yulara airport. Our guide Phil picked us from there, since the first minute he was amazing with everybody in the group and explained us everything about the places we were visiting. This tour is an experience itself, sleeping under the stars, meeting new people and enjoying the wonderful Outback and its NP.

We had a wonderful trip with Liv and Mulgas Adventures. The tour was well-organised, meals were delicious, and Liv is superb. She did an excellent job of sharing stories, knowledge, making everything fun, easy & enjoyable and was a charming companion. Going to Uluṟu was already a bucketlist item for me but Mulgas’ 4-day Rock-to-Rock tour turned it into an experience of a lifetime. A massive shoutout to the legendary Ben! We had a really great group but we wouldn’t have had that much fun without him. Some key highlights:- Learning about the places in such an incredible way. It was a good balance of First Nations knowledge, history and science. Ben delivered the knowledge in such a fun way he could be a teacher! I don’t think I would’ve understood how orogeny happens if he didn’t explain it the way he did.- As someone who loves trekking, I was grateful that we got to take our time to do the longest tracks in every place and enjoy them instead of being rushed. We trekked 7-8km almost every day in Uluṟu, Kata Tjuṯa, Watarrka. They were worth the 5am wake-up calls every morning. We also got some cool tunes to wake up to so the early hours weren’t too rough.- Sleeping under the stars with a clear view of the Milky Way every day was incredible. I was nervous about sleeping in the outdoors, in a swag, in the desert/bush in the dead of winter but the swags and sleeping bags were very warm. We slept around the fire every night too.- We were fed VERY well, and always had energy to do all of the physical activities that the tour entails. For example, we always began a trek with some muesli bars and ended it with fruit (on top of brekky). I am impressed at how many brekky options we got every morning! We had really hearty and delicious lunch and especially dinner. The consensus agreed that Ben’s cooking is superb. I have had many kangaroo steaks but the one I had on this trip was the best one. Ben also pulled off an incredible caramel cake that was baked in the fire. I truly appreciated Mulgas accomodating my dietary requirement too (dairy free).- The best part of all was the participatory nature of the tour. We helped with the cooking, washing up, carrying eskies and containers, even finding firewood! It was a fun way to get to know the other amazing participants in the tour. Thank you Ben for being an absolute ledge!

The mulgas (4days, 3 nights) tour to uluru was amazing! This is an experience of a lifetime! Alex, our Tour guide, was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained! Dietary restrictions were taken seriously and we were well fed during these 4 days! This is not a vacation to chill, it's a vacation where you get up early to see the sunrise and go on a hike and it was soooo worth it ! The 4 day tour was amazing. The tour guide, James, was really enthusiastic and made it a great experience. We visited Uluru, Kata Tjuta and King's Canyon. We also had some quick stop offs at the cultural centre and a salt lake. The food was all really good, including camel and kangaroo. The swag camping was a really cool experience and very cozy! We saw camels, cute spinifex hopping mice and a dingo. James even played the didgeridoo for us on the last night which was awesome! Overall a perfect way to see the Outback!

Had an amazing time on the 3 day tour! Our guide Liv was extremely knowledgeable about the culture and area which really made the experience even better. The tour is well organised with early starts to see the sunrises and avoid hiking in the peak heat. The camps were all well equipped and had warm showers. Swags were surprisingly comfortable to sleep in by the fire. Overall a great way to visit Uluru, Valley of the Winds and Kings Canyon and really understand the cultural significance of the area to the Aboriginal people.

I had an amazing time the rock to rock tour was much more than I expected and the guides Simon and James were great. The views and experience was great alone but they were both nice and funny and always accommodating to everyone. James’ cooking was always good and he went out of his way to make vegan dishes for me.

PHIL our tour guide was absolutely amazing. His character and approachable attitude really added to the authentic camping experience and made you feel at ease. We loved his early morning wake up playlist. There was an abundance of snacks and information provided.
